Booking Agreement & Terms and Conditions:


Bookings

The rates and details of the booking will be agreed in advance and charged to the client. Rates are quoted on an individual basis and are dependent on a number of factors. This includes but is not limited to- content usage, workload and prep involved, number of models/cast, locations and times.

Overtime is charged at 1/10 of the daily rate and charged to the client.

The client will provide House of Bendy with all of the necessary information to complete the booking in advance.

If any extra artists or assistants are needed then the rates and details will be agreed in advance and charged to the client.

On shoot days, the client will provide lunch suited to any dietary requirements for all artists involved.

Payments for invoices are to be made within 30 days of the job date.

Any artists working on behalf of House of Bendy are responsible for paying their own tax.

Work Environment

The client will provide a clean getting ready space that remains clutter free and with good ventilation.

There must be good light and access to power.

There must be quick and easy access to a sink with warm water to allow for lots of hand washing.

Only the artist and recipient will be allowed in the getting ready space to minimise risk of transmission of Covid-19.

Time

Hair styling & Makeup Application will take more time now due to all the extra safety precautions. If time is an issue extra artists may need to be added to the booking. 

Extra time will be needed for disinfecting the space and all our tools & PPE thoroughly in between clients. We will also need regular short breaks to wash our hands.

Cancellations & Amendments

If for any reason you wish to entirely cancel your booking, we must receive this in writing via email.

If you cancel your booking 2 weeks prior to the job date then the full rate agreed will still be due.

If you want to change the date of the booking then we will work with you to reschedule, subject to availability. Any fees for services already undertaken will still be due and any costs for expenses, travel or accommodation booked will need to be reimbursed. This is also applicable for any additional artists or assistants.

Force Majeure

In the case of a force majeure event where both parties cannot fulfil these terms and conditions for reasons that are beyond their control, we will work with you to reschedule, subject to availability. Any fees for services already undertaken will still be due or will not be refunded but can be carried over to a new date. 


Illness & emergency

Should I need to cancel or amend the booking, a suitable replacement artist will be found and every attempt possible will be made to ensure you’re consulted and happy with the artist offered. If this is not to your liking, you are free to look for alternative services. However, any costs for work already undertaken will still be due or will not be refunded but you will not be charged for the shoot day services.

Travel 

The cost of any artist’s travel is covered by the bride and is charged at 50p per mile for distances after 10 miles from the artist’s postcode.  

These are applicable for travel to and from the location on the shoot day and for any prep or reconnaissance days...  Any congestion, tolls or parking costs are also chargeable to the client.
